One of my daughter’s favorite foods is egg. Whenever she has no appetite to eat, I would serve her an egg and problem solved! I also let her eat hard boiled egg if she ran out of snacks.
In contrast to the traditional notion that daily consumption of egg can raise cholesterol levels and puts a risk on heart disease, eggs are now regarded by medical professionals to be a valuable contribution to a healthy, balanced diet, and can be eaten daily. It contains 13 essential vitamins and minerals which includes Vitamin A that supports immune functions, and Zinc that assists in maintaining immune function as well as body tissue growth and repair. It also contains 2 macronutrients which includes 13% daily value of high quality Protein that is essential for building and repairing tissue and muscle, and aides in immune function. An egg also contains 2 antioxidants.
Eggs are not only packed with nutrients but are also inexpensive, so easy to prepare, and so easy to eat for children.
